Step 2 – Remove coolant temperature sensor. The temperature sensor is in a tight area, behind the engine, closer to the passenger side. I have a 2005 Audi A6 3.0 TDI Diesel Quattro Tiptronic the "check oil level" light comes on after driving for about 30km. If i check the oil level with a dipstick it is fine.
